Welcome to Trauma Sensitive Space

Trauma Sensitive Space has been created with the intention of providing practical mindfulness tools for individuals who have experienced trauma. Founder, Jana, is a yoga and mindfulness facilitator specialising in trauma sensitive yoga by TCTSY and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) tapping.

Trauma Sensitive Space offers a range of resources to support healing and recovery from trauma. Evidence based studies have documented, that healing and recovery from trauma can be found through trauma sensitive practices such as trauma sensitive yoga. Trauma Sensitive Space aims to provide a safe environment where you can reconnect with your senses, explore nature, engage with sound and cultivate bodily awareness in present moment experience.

Jana is deeply passionate about empowering trauma survivors through the transformative practices of movement, mindfulness, and spoken word, which can be used in the healing process in the aftermath of trauma. Her goal is to share these tools and empower each individual to be the voice of their own healing.

Along with running yoga classes in the unique locations she has visited, Jana’s experience has included facilitating yoga at The Freedom Hub survivor school, in Sydney’s inner west, supporting survivor’s of modern day slavery, and running charity event’s fundraising for those that have lived and survived through trauma.
